When affiliates apply to your program, their applications wait for review under the **Candidates** tab on the **Affiliates** page.

Each row shows the applicant, their email, status, and submission date. Open a row to read their marketing profile and motivation before you decide.

## Approve an application

Click **Approve**, then choose how to onboard the affiliate:

* **Assign to campaigns** — pick one or more active campaigns. The affiliate is created with usable tracking links right away.
* **Add to pool without campaign** — the affiliate is approved and waits until you assign a campaign later.

  An application that arrived without a campaign must be approved with at least one campaign assigned. The pool option is only available for applications already tied to a campaign.

On approval, RefCampaign creates the affiliate and emails them a link to their dashboard.

## Reject an application

Click **Reject**. You can add an optional reason, which is sent to the applicant. No affiliate account is created.

## Bulk actions

Select several applications to **Approve** or **Reject** them together from the actions bar.

### Application statuses

| Status    | Meaning                                        |
| --------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| Pending   | Waiting for your review.                       |
| Approved  | Accepted; the affiliate was created.           |
| Rejected  | Declined.                                      |
| Withdrawn | The applicant cancelled their own application. |
